I was SO blessed this past weekend! Thanks for all those who came out to support me and my music, and don’t forget to go pick up some amazing Yogurt at YOYO’s.
Had the great opportunity to play for a great crowd this afternoon in downtown Fort Wayne. The Downtown Improvement District did an amazing job putting on an excellent concert series. I was to thank you guys for allowing me to play on your stage. Below are some pics from the event. It was so great to meet all of you!
Battle of the Bands in SPRING heat??
City/State: Chattanooga, TN (aka Chattanoogies)
Event: JFEST Battle of the Bands
Time: 8:30 A.M. (waaaaaaaaaaay too early)
Song: A BRAND NEW ONE CALLED “Amazing”
With 20 minutes on the countdown clock we managed to get our groove on to a couple hundred amazing new Chattanooga fans! Check out some of the video! The Battle of the bands was a fantastic experience and it was great to come away with new friends and new experiences! Watch out Wilmore, KY, we’ll see you @ Ichthus next week!!!
Its official, I have entered and made into the top twelve of the Star 88.3 Battle of the bands contest this year. Its a great honor to be among such great talent and I look forward to hearing all the bands and competing for the grand prize. Now here is the catch, it is a competition, the goal is to win, and in order to do that I need your help.
From today until April 15th, online voting is open to all of you to help me advance to the next round. All your support and votes will go towards the scoring of my live performance. In this round each band will have ten (10) minutes to play two (2) songs. Each band will be given a total of 15 minutes to include both performance and set-up and tear-down. Set-up and tear-down time will overlap between entries. The next round as far as we know is being held May 7th and May 14th in which the competition and stakes will increase.
Overall, this is a great opportunity for me and my band to play my music on larger level here in Fort Wayne. The top two bands from May 7 and the top two bands from May 14 will advance to the Semi-Final Round of the Battle For Christ on June 3rd in Chattanooga, TN.
Please mark your calendars for each round of the event and go Vote for me as many times as physically possible! Thanks so much for your amazing support and my fingers are crossed! Click the banner and go vote!

Probably one of the most exciting moments of my life took place last Friday night! To those who were able to come out I feel honored to have shared that with you. The journey of “Free in Love” has begun and I am so blessed. This is just the beginning and I think that’s what excites me the most…. I know there is so much more to come, and it won’t always be smooth sailing but along the way I can’t wait to learn new things, meet new people, and mold into the musicial artist I was created to be. I want to you to be there with me on this process so don’t forget to take a look at my upcoming shows under the “upcoming shows” tab… My full “Free in Love” Album is NOW available on iTunes so please check that out too!! It would be amazing to hear YOU sing to ME while I sing to YOU! So much love!
Hi guys! Well, I’m in the studio again, but this time it’s for an amazing cause!
This past week I was given an amazing opportunity to help co-write a song about adoption. Adoption is something which has always been very close to my heart. Many of you may not know that some day I would like to adopt a child. Even when I was a young girl I remember having the desire to adopt. Although I have this passion, it’s not the easiest song to write, but I’m loving every moment of it! I’ll keep you posted on the progress! When the song is complete it will be available on iTunes and all the proceeds go entirely to the family of Ryan & Kayla Weaver, to help aid in their adoption process. You can follow along and share in their journey of adoption and donate to their cause by clicking the underlined name above.
Thanks for your support! -Sarah Alicia
This weekend I am shooting my next music video from the up in coming full length album “Free In Love” being released on March 4th, 2011. We went location scouting today and I am so excited to see how it all turns out. Be on the look out for the video coming soon. Special thanks to Ethan Yang and his crew for all their hard work and preparation!
For those of you ready to hear the record. My official “Free In Love” CD release show is at C2G Music Hall, downtown Fort Wayne. Friday March 4th, 2011 keep your calendars free. Would love to see you all there!
How do I even begin to start when I have so much to be thankful for? I’m reflecting today because that’s really all I can do right now. Reflect. It’s snowing outside and from my view there are evergreens separated by white powder. Sometimes I forget about the good things in life. In the midst of everything going on I forget to stop and take it all in. Well, nothing and no one can take me away from this moment right now and that makes me happy!!
I really like mowing the grass! Yes, I’m pretty random, I know this, but you’ll have to get used to it! I was actually thinking about it the other day and there are a lot of PRO’s to mowing the lawn!
Here they are:
- It’s a fantastic source of Vitamin D.
- A way to drown out any noise around you in order to think clearly.
- A fulfilling before and after of the hard work you did.
- Ohhh… the smell of fresh cut grass!
See thats why really like it and after reading I’m sure you can agree with me too, or just think I’m crazy!
I guess some of you are wondering why I’m talking about cutting grass when it’s the middle of winter… Well, that’s because it’s never winter in the Cayman Islands and right now that’s where I happen to be! My frequent trips to Cayman are going to have to stop soon though because there will be many more shows and Sarah Alicia concerts in the USA… mostly in Indiana! I really cannot wait to start this tour! Before its begins however, I will take advantage of all the sun, fish, ocean, Caribbean FOOD, REAL Caribbean music, and all my Caymanian friends!
